Souls Rest
Plot: A young man named Avi Otus is called to the old house by his Aunt. He looks to find her and figure out whats going on in this standalone first chapter of a Gameboy game.
Features:

- A custom color pallet when playing online or on a gameboy color.
- Currently available for ROM download so you can play chapter 1 on the go.
This is the first game I've made in GB Studio. I am now working on Chapter 2 and 3. I love feedback.
I'm still fixing a few bugs and glitches as well as issues with audio. if you spot one please feel free to let me know so I can fix it.
If you have trouble starting a new game press the A button and wait for the menu. if you give it a moment it should let you start it.
Controls:
- WASD or Arrow keys to move
- A: Alt, z, j
- B: control, k, x
- Start: Enter
- Select: Shift

working on them slower due to having an actual job. otherwise it’s going fine enough. the first chapter actually broke upon an update to the program I made it in so I’m trying to fix that.
i dont get how to do the slide in the trunk... I've pressed everything and still, someone halp meee :d

Alright. What happens when you try? Some people have to click on the game with the mouse and then hit one of the start keys listed in the description. If this does work what device are you using, what browser or emulator are you on and what happens when you try to play?
I can't figure out how to start a new game.
You should be able to just press the equivalent of a on the keyboard. this should be Alt, Z or J.
ok is there acutally death cause i really want to talk to him
Yes. he’s a random chance encounter. if you want to brute force it go to the graveyard and then leave. from there there’s a gap in the woods. if his event has been triggered Avi will mention that he hears singing. then go up.
