Chapter 1 updates:

We are now on version 1.9!

1.8 fixes:

• fixed the menus. You can’t layer menus anymore. +. fixed typo on the cat variable. It now counts correctly.
• flying ghost only rushes to the graveyard. No longer bothers you when leaving. +minor setup for later chapters.

1.9 Fixes:

• one message was attached to the wrong actor. missing page belongs to the Guardian book.

other important updates: As all major game ending bugs have been removed I’ve put the rom back up for anyone who’d rather play on their emulators.

Please note that this is set up as a standalone first chapter and further chapters are going to slightly change the ending and gameplay. As some later chapters add hidden characters I might make them easier to hunt down and find to help with game cohesion.

Also I make a separate twitter jsut for Souls Rest. This will be used for updates, concept art, polls and previews of random things I’ve added. this will be recommended as I will only update the game itself when chapters are complete or I’ve fixed a bug to help prevent things from being too awkward after the CH 1 credits.
